About me
Welcome. My name is Fatima. I strive everyday for a happy healthy life filled with love, passion, and peace. Life is a journey and in order to enjoy it, we need a sound mind, a healed spirit and a healthy body. Having practiced Qigong and Taichi for several years, I have experienced the significant and positive effects they have had on my health, wellness, and spiritual development. Although my practical background was in business administration and information systems management, I began exploring traditional Chinese medicine and the philosophy on which it was built to find answers to my many questions. Through this search and my subsequent studies, I became a certified practitioner in traditional chinese medicine.
I further explored Qigong and became a certified teacher because I want to share the positive impact that Qigong has had not only on me personally but also on so many others.
Through online sessions and group training at the hospitals, I have helped many people to take care of their physical and psychological health and help them experience a state of inner peace, joy and gratitude for the strength of the energy they possess.
One of my values is accepting our individual differences and finding inspiration from it. Every human being has the potential to build a healthy and a happy life worthy of sharing.
I am on a never-ending journey of learning and self-development, striving everyday to be better and to give better.
Many thanks to my teachers, my family, my friends, and everyone who has crossed my path and enriched my life.
Qigong & Taichi
What is the difference between Qigong and TaiChi?

What is Qigong?
Qigong is a health care system based on the unity of the mind, soul, and body, combining graceful movements, breathing techniques and focused intention. Originating in ancient China, it associates the health benefits of Chinese philosophy, culture, and historical traditions.
Qigong movements are inspired by the effortless flow of nature, such as the movement of birds, animals, trees, and water.
Considered a healthy method for the prevention and treatment of many diseases. It enhances the strength of the body and its systemes through regular practice. And is a method used in self-healing. In addition to playing an important role in intellectual and spiritual advancement, the secret of benefiting from qigong is through perseverance with it and enjoying its performance.
The aim of practicing qigong is to enhance the movement of life energy (chi) in the body by opening energy pathways and activating its centers.
Reaching a state of relaxation as well as deep breathing are prerequisites to allow the energy to flow and harmonize with the energy of the universe.
Qigong is practiced as an integrated health system in its own right, considered as one of the five basic branches of traditional Chinese medicine, or as the ideal complement for training Taichi.

What is Taichi?
It is and internal martial art for self-defense that minimizes the use of force to overcome an opponent.
Taichi is a form of moving meditation, a series of fixed postures and movements, which connect and flow into one another. Disciplines similar to Taichi have been practiced in China for over 2000 years, but from the 18th century, a form known as Taichi chuan has become increasingly more popular for its health benefits.
Taichi is often called “ dynamic Qigong”.

What is the difference between Qigong and Taichi?
Both are derived from traditional Chinese medicine philosophy, yin and yang theory, and in harmony with the energy of the forces of the universe.
Qigong is about 4000 years old, while Ta chi is about 2000 years old.
Qigong is a repetitive movement that is practiced standing or sitting. At times. there are no movements but only breathing. As for Taichi, it is a fluid successive movement that takes place through steps. Discipline and a higher mental focus are required when performing the movements and often need more space. Qigong is usually practiced standing with the use of a stick, fan, or sword.
Both work on the body’s energy and improve breathing. Both are used as meditation through movements, breathing techniques, and complete mindfulness.
Qigong is designed as a health and wellness care system. Taichi is classified as a type of Chinese martial arts ( kung fu) and aims to enable inner potential energy. It is called dynamic Qigong. Its movements are derived from Qigong and Kung fu.
